Mobile Reproductive and Dental Health Camp in Parbat and Baglung


Rotary Club Dhulikhel in collaboration of CDRA Nepal, District Health Office Parbat and Baglung organized 10 days mobile reproductive and dental health camp in Durlung village of Parbat, Galkot Harichaur of Baglung, Ramja Thathi of Parbat. Rotary Club of Baglung ,Rotary Club Of Parbhat  had also supported the camp by encouraging communities to obtain medical services. Local community and UML district committee helping medical team with local logistics supports. Doctors from Nepal Government, Dhulikhel Hospital, Nepal Medical College Jorpati are mobilized and 14 paramedical staff has also supported the medical camps in remote location of Parbat and Baglung districts of western Nepal. During the 10 days camp around 2000 patients received treatments.

Rotary has regular program of reproductive health with surgical support provided by Nepal Government referred hospitals in District Hospital Parbat Kusma, Manipal Medical College, Dhulikhel Hospital etc for uterine prolapsed surgeries for free of cost to the most vulnerable woman living in Durlung, Galkot, and Ramjha area. Mobile Medical Team of Rotary/CDRA Nepal involving Dr. Surendra Lal Shrestha, Dr. Archna KC, Dr. Suraj Rijal, Dr. Dasharath Kafle and Dr. Nisha Acharya and 14 paramedical  staff has also supported the medical camps in remote location of Parbat and Baglung districts of western Nepal. During the 10 days camp 2000 patients received treatments staff joined the camp. It is estimated that 2000 patients will received direct medical treatment against gynecological problems, dental problems, eye check, PID,VDS,APD, servicities,COPD, hypertension and general medicine.All examined patients will receive medicine for free of cost. Rotarian Ashok Shrestha, Rotarian Kamala Shrestha, and Rotarian Netra Neupane visited the camp site. Member of Parliament honorable  Ramji Prasad Sharma has visited and inaugurated the camp by providing medicine to 80 years senior Bhadrakali Khatri of Hila village development committee. Mr. Janak Poudel leader of UML Party welcome the medical team and thanks for generous support of doctors and paramedical staff by reaching difficult location of Baglung district. The program is funded by the Goodwill Community Foundation USA.
