District Governor Rotarian Basudev Golyan and
Rotary Dhulikhel President Ashok Shrestha hand over the Color Dopler
ulrasonography machine donated to Dhulikhel Hospital. Dr. Sanjay Humagain, cardiologist of
Dhulikhel hospital express his gratitude and thanks to Rotary efforts to strengthen
the capacity of cardiac department of Dhulikhel hospital. Rotary Dhulikhel has
been very helpful to this hospital by supporting in many ways. For this ultrasonography
machine Rotary worked with Rotary Dorfen in Germany and Dr. Dirk Anderson of
Germany and Ashok Shrestha from
Dhulikhel jointly put enormous efforts to get the funding of
Rs.2,250,000.00 ($28,210.00) from the Rotary Foundation. Dr. Sanjay informed to
Rotarian that this machine is very much helpful to examine the critical
conditions of the heart patients and this machine is portable and doctor could
take to remote location in medical camps. District Governor feel happy to
provide such a important machine to hospital for building capacity and render
quality service the to serve better. Rotarian Ashok Shrestha also express his
happiness to share with staff of Dhulikhel Hospital and thousands of patients
around the Kavre district.
Rotary also provided cardio vascular
labrotories machine (cathlab) which costs Aus$300,000 on March 2012 by
honorable her Excellency Susan Grace of Australian Ambassador to Nepal Rotary Dhulikhel is partnering with Rotary
Australia World Community Service in various health and education projects for
helping Neplease communities since decade.
