Mega Eye Camp in Kailali and Kanchanpur District

Rotary Club Dhulikhel and Rotary Australia World Community Service had jointly implemented the camp in 5 locations in 8 camp site. More than 6400 people were served by receiving more than 6000 various size glasses, medications for free of cost. In the camp 200 cataract were identified and referred to local eye hospital for surgery and Rotary is sponsoring Rs.1000 per cataract surgery. In the camp 19 Australian, New Zealand and American Rotary volunteers and 30 Nepali staff and volunteers were mobilized to serve the underprivileged community in far western region and Rs. two million is spent in eye camp program. This camp was one of the mega eye camp in Nepal.
