and Community Development and Relief
Nepal jointly initiated to help the Reiyukai Eiko Masunaga Eye Hospital
in Banepa. On 30th April 2012 a ground breaking ceremony organized
by Eye Hospital team and Rotary Club Dhulikhel President and representative of
Goodwill Community Foundation USA handed over the first instalment of hospital
building support Rs.five million to the patron of Eye Hospital Mr. Ysun
Masunaga later on check was given to hospital board chairman Mr. Madhu Acharya
and Chief Adviser Dr. Shashank Koirala. Chief District Administrative Officer Mr.
Rudranath Basyal express his gratitude to hospital management similarly Banepa
Municipality chief Mr. Surat Pokhrel express his support to eye hospital. Mr.
Masunaga express his heartfelt thanks to the organizer and he has committed to
make the dream of eye hospital come true on the occasion he remember his late
wife Eiko Masunaga who like to see something visible in Nepal. Local
communities were warmly welcome to all visitors in their village people were
sharing their happiness
