Rotary
Club Dhulikhel President Ashok Shrestha
organized a group of New Zealanders to visit the Baluwa village to meet
the Danuwar families in May 2012. Danuwar communities are backward by education
and economy and Rotary is helping to uplift the communities by supporting
education program and economic development program. Rotary Dhulikhel and
Community Development and Relief Agency Nepal working together to provide 150
goat and 50 cow to the families for their income generation opportunities.
Friends of New Zealand has visited the village and handed over the cow and
goats on 1st of may 2012. Villagers were very happy and thankful to
the Rotary Club of Dhulikhel for reaching them with support.
Rotarian from New Zealand also donated cow for
economic benefit of Danuwar communities in Baluwa.
