Rotary
Dhulikhel is committed to contribute to create 100% literacy by 2017 as Rotary
South Asia Regional Confrence declaration in Kathmandu March 2012. Rotary Dhulikhel partnering with Rotary Club
of Papamoa, Rotary Club of Matamata and Rotary Club of Tauranga Te Papa, New
Zealand and the Good Will Community Foundation USA to help education for the left out
communities in Kavre districts. Recently 13 members of Rotary team from New
Zealand arrived in Bhuwoneswori School and handed over education materials and
hygine kits. The team met the Danuwar children and school teacher and discuss
how Rotary could support the communities. Under the matching grant 74335 Rotary
Club of Dhulikhel build new toilets , renovate schools and provide school
furniture to Bhuwoneswori school for US$15,575.00. Local Danuwar communities
are very much obliged and thankful to the Rotary Club for providing various
support s.
300 Danuwar students received education packs and hygiene
kits from Rotarian of New Zealand
